Mail Boxes Etc. UK: 30% growth in organic sessions
Organic sessions increased from 122,923 to 159,968 in the first four months after I took responsibility for SEO in March 2025.

A national franchise website has to support the brand while helping people find relevant services and local centres.
After taking responsibility for Mail Boxes Etc. UK SEO in March 2025, the first four months recorded 159,968 organic sessions, compared with 122,923 in the corresponding period a year earlier — an increase of approximately 30%.

The business context
Mail Boxes Etc. UK combines a national brand with a network of local centres. Its website needs to explain services at a national level while helping visitors identify the location that can assist them.
For SEO, those requirements are connected. Service content, local information and the routes between them all influence how easily a visitor can find what they need.
My role
My responsibilities included:
- Setting and prioritising SEO work.
- Reviewing technical issues and website quality.
- Developing content and landing-page recommendations.
- Supporting local search visibility.
- Coordinating with developers and delivery partners.
- Reviewing analytics and search performance.
The work took place within my employed role and involved coordination with head office, franchisees, developers and agencies.
Connecting the national website with local needs
My approach to a franchise network considers both national and local journeys. A visitor should be able to understand the relevant service, find a suitable centre and access accurate information about how to make contact.
When assessing these websites, I consider questions such as:
- Can visitors find the service they need?
- Can they move from national service information to a relevant location?
- Does each location provide clear, useful information?
- Can the business assess performance across the website and its local pages?
These questions help turn a broad SEO brief into priorities that can be discussed, implemented and measured.
What the results show
The reported figures show growth in organic visits, engaged sessions and search visibility during the first four months after I took responsibility.
Comparing the same months across consecutive years helps account for recurring seasonal patterns. It does not establish that every change resulted from SEO activity alone.
Four months is an early view of performance. These are aggregate website results, rather than evidence that every branch experienced the same increase, and they do not establish a corresponding increase in enquiries or revenue.
What this experience brings to multi-location SEO
Managing SEO across a franchise network requires practical coordination. Recommendations must account for the national brand, local businesses and the people responsible for maintaining the website.
That experience informs how I help multi-location businesses set priorities and connect technical, content and local SEO work.
